David Warkentin
Chief Executive Officer
dkw@igc.org
David’s visionary creation of MacRepertory and ReferenceWorks has inspired a revolution in modern homeopathic thinking and practice. He has taught at nearly every homeopathic school in the United States and numerous schools around the world, as well as serving on the boards of several homeopathic organizations.

David is the recipient of many awards, including the prestigious Henry N. Williams Professional Service Award from the National Center of Homeopathy in recognition for his years of service, teaching and dedication to the homeopathic community. David’s education includes nearly three decades worth of seminars and classes in Homeopathy with countless teachers, including George Vithoulkas and Dr. Francisco Eizayaga. He also has a Physician’s Assistant license from the University of California (Davis) Medical School, an honorary doctoral degree from The British Institute of Homoeopathy U.K., and CCH Certification from the Council on Homeopathic Certification. He maintained a private homeopathy practice in Marin County, CA from 1976 to 1995, was co-founder of the Hahnemann Medical Clinic in Berkeley, CA where he practiced from 1985 to 1989, and then founded KHA in 1989.

Some of David’s other accomplishments include photography and white water rafting. One of the most well-loved and respected leaders in Homeopathy, David continues to expand the healing potential of Homeopathy with passion, integrity and commitment.

Mike Hourigan
ReferenceWorks Programmer
mhourigan@igc.org
In 1981, Mike received a B.S. in Computer Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with an emphasis on business and the emerging personal computer field. He worked for two years for Hewlett-Packard. Although it was a good corporation to work for, the corporate life wasn't for him, so when the Apple Lisa (the predecessor of the Macintosh) was introduced, Mike knew it was time to leave Hewlett-Packard and write free-lance programs. For two years he wrote free-lance programs for the Lisa and then the Macintosh when it was introduced. He also wrote a small program for the Amiga.

In 1986, Mike met David, who was returning a kayak to his roommate. Mike learned that David was looking for a Macintosh programmer who had experience with outlining programs, programmed using the C programming language, and was available. Oddly enough, most of Mike’s work was on the Macintosh using C, and he had just worked on an outline processor for the Amiga, and was available for a new project at the time! Everything fit together so well. So Mike hooked up with David to program MacRepertory and, later, ReferenceWorks. 17 years later Mike is still with David, making additions to the programs. David and Mike have enough ideas for new features that will last KHA until at least the year 2118. Although Mike is often behind the scenes, his patience, fortitude and intelligence are an irreplaceable part of KHA’s momentum.

William Smith
MacRepertory Programmer
netsmith2001@comcast.net
Billy’s passion as a child for all things mechanical segued naturally into computers when the personal microcomputer revolution arrived in Berkeley in the early 1970's. He had worked on many software projects over the years from word processors to communications networks both in the Mac and Windows worlds before finding the nurturing community of KHA. He began working with KHA in the early 1990's and he was instrumental in the creation of the Windows version of the popular MacRepertory program. After about 2 years of intense work, KHA was finally able to ship MacRepertory and ReferenceWorks in Windows. After a brief hiatus to work at Broderbund, where he took on the challenge of software management, he gained an invaluable wealth of knowledge about the software development process. But KHA is where he belonged and as of 2003, he was back working with the team and adding new features to MacRepertory.

Declan Flannery
Technical Support
email@igc.org
Declan is back on board as tech support! After a move across the country and back again, he found himself back with the KHA family - and boy are we happy! It takes a special person to be able to help confused and panicked customers sort through their computer problems, but Declan manages to remain calm and patient through it all. His charming Irish wit often helps to bring a smile, even during the most stressful times. Declan and his wife have just had their second child, another boy, and now have a house full of activity and joy.

Tracy Liston
KHA Europe Office Manager
orders@khaEurope.us
Tracy is our most important staff member outside of the US. When customers or dealers need help Tracy is the person that they go to; she is wonderfully helpful, kind and efficient. In addition to saving-the-day on a regular basis Tracy manages the general running of the UK office. Prior to joining the KHA team, Tracy ran a small limited company before taking a summer off, which somehow led to three years of gardening!
